I have checked several sites, all have slotted one. Anybody have a suggestion?

I think they are marketed under the T/C brand and are pretty common. Midway shows them in stock. I'm sure there are other suppliers.

If you are near a 'Fastenal' store, they've got them, just bought a few.

Fastenal may have some allen head 1/4 by 28 set screws you could make a touch-hole liner from but, i'd be surprised if they actually have the liners themselves.

I would like to see pictures of the "allen head" touch hole liners like the T/C version available from hardware stores, Fastenal, etc. :)

Here's what a T/C liner looks like and is the type of liner I think the OP was asking about.

thanks. that's what I tried to say. they may have allen head set screws you could make a liner from but I seriously doubt they sell touch-hole liners themselves.

Just FYI. I keep some stainless steel ready rod of the proper diameter on hand. Drill the size vent you want, countersink the inside, screw it in, cut it off where you need it, and file flush. I don't use it often, but is handy to have around if I don't have a vent in stock, and need a gun RIGHT NOW!
