Looked at a older mold with onely one side vented , did this work as well. I have bought 3 used seaco molds and have been pleased with them. 1 rcbs as well older 358-150 kt with a little cleaning and stone work on the plate . They are a pleasure to cast with . I can empty a 4-20 pot with 2. 2 cav 358 molds and wish my pot held more . But not shore on the one side vented . Have some of you used them and did they work as well as both side vented blocks. Thanks

I've never seen a mold that only had one side vented but have used Ideal and Winchester which are not vented on the block faces and they work quite well. Try it and see how it works.

I have been using Saeco moulds for 25+ years and have never had one that would not cast a good bullet including ones that only had venting on one block face. Not unusual to find original Saeco moulds with only venting on one block face.
