Has anyone had experience with these molds?
I'd appreciate both positive and negative comments.
I'm starting to look for one in .40/10mm.
Lyman doesn't produce them so I'm having to look for a used one.
I'm hoping for a good coyote round out of my 10mm EAA Witness.
Yes, I have played with them a fair amount. Go to:

for details. The 10mm is a great varmint bullet. You're right, Lyman has dropped the 10mm from their product line, but I bet you can find some NOS sitting a dealer's shelves somewhere.

I took my 44 mountain pistol to Africa with me a long time ago. I used it on an impala and a dik dik. I also used it to finish off a spined zebra. In every case it worked great. Showed violent expansion and blew the nose off leaving a wad cutter against the hide on the zebra. The smaller stuff it just went through but left large entrance and exit holes.
I took a whitetail doe last fall with a Lyman 44 Devastator in a 629 Classic DX 5 incher. Load was 17g of WC820. Boolit performed well and was the first cast 44 I ever recovered. It weighed 218g and started out at 267g. My 429640HP has had the gas check shank milled out. It works fine! In my opinion, gas checks are a waste of time and money in the .44 magnum at velocities under 1200 fps.
