I had a Ruger No.3 rebarrelled and chambered for the .327 Federal Magnum. Barrel is a Douglas #6 varmint, 26", 1/12 twist. Will be using a semi-spitzer, 170 gr. plain base cast boolit that will be breech seated.
I have been thinking of using Alliant MP-300 powder as a starting powder but can't find any data for a starting load in the.327 Fed. Mag.
Looking for opinions on the MP-300 or another favorite powder loading data. Looking for MV around 1,500 fps.
The Ruger was built for 200 yd. bench rest shooting. I know some of you are ASSRA members and have probably seen a similar post with little feedback.

I Googled up these links, but didn't read any of the information.
The loads listed are probably intended for revolvers since that is what it is intended for.

As for using MP-300 for powder ...
In my opinion, that should have been sorted out before having a gun built to shoot it.

Montana, using Accurate 4100 was the plan, but everybody has run out of it. 4100, according to Accurate is supposed to be available by the end of the year (probably later) but I want to get started breaking the rifle in.

Thanks for the links.

MP 300 is a bit slower than 4100. If you have data for 4100 start with mid level loads and work from there.

Sounds like a plan. Have also been looking into AA9. It seems to be a popular powder for the .32 Miller Short.
