I sent a Ruger LCP back to Ruger because it was showing peening of the slide and barrel (seems other owners with early LCPs that are shot a lot have had this problem too). Looking at the fedex tracking info, the pistol arrived at Ruger (Prescott, AZ) on Sept 24th at 11:17 and was picked up again by fedex on Sept 25th at 3:00 PM. In that time Ruger replaced the slide assembly, barrel, recoil spring assembly and take down pin and test fired it with 18 rounds of Black Hills ammo. The pistol was back to me in 6 days. And they covered shipping costs. I’m impressed!

That is good to know. I may be returning a Ruger American Compact SS in 308 as I am having trouble with blown primers and suck cases. I hear that the chambers are tight but don't understand why I am having troubles like this. My reloads are in the medium recommended range. I have loaded minimum loads but haven't been to the range to try them out.

Lemme piggy back here. I got one of the new Lipsey's .480 SBHs. 500 unit limited edition so I expected it to be near perfect. It was...nearly. Other than the trigger (which was an easy fix) everything was absolutely great except for the grips. On an A-F scale they were maybe a C.

Big gaps at the frame and too small around the front strap. Downright poor. Emailed them and as requested emailed back pictures and serial number. Replacement set was mailed the same day. Didnt even want the old ones back 'in case I could use them for something else'.

Havent got them as yet but that is first rate service in my opinion.

I have had two send my sr9c in twice. Once was their fault with a bad spring 2nd I'm pretty sure was my fault. Both times had the gun back within a week and no charge.

I had an issue with my SRH Alaskan in 44 mag and they replaced the crane, aligned it, test-fired it and got it back to me for $0 in 9 days (just looked to be sure). They were nothing but professional and extremely gracious to me, I had two follow-up calls during the process. I give them an A+ for customer service.

I lost the pawl spring & plunger on a Security Six called Ruger They sent me 2 of each part ,when I ask how much they said no charge. Not bad for a gun I got used ,I told them that. and that model was stopped in 1988.

Follow up. My replacement Bisley grip panels rate an A. Not an A+ but a LOT better than the original set

Love reading threads like this. I have several Rugers in the house and have been really pleased with all of them. An all american in 30-06 will be added soon.
