I bought some Trewax Carnuba Paste on a close out table, says it wood working wax. Is this stuff any good in a
lube mix or should I start polishing the cabinets?? Its really cheep compared to the list prices I found.

what ratio would be acceptable in a lube mix. AT $2 a can I might get some more its suitable or our uses.

thanks

Are talking about Trewax® Clear Paste Wax ?

It looks like there is 1 to 10% carnuba in there, and lots of other stuff to take into consideration, in regards to a boolit lube ingredient.

For what Lars charges for his Carnuba Red lube better to go that route and be sure.Robert

If you are wanting to use a lube with Carnauba then the lubes sold by our own member Lars is one way to do it. If you are wanting to add it to other home made types of lube, then the best way is to purchase the Carnauba flakes sold by Randy Rat and add them to your other materials. It takes very little of the flakes to achieve your goal, so add a little at a time and test before dumping it in. Later David

If your looking to play with carnauba in your lubes see Randyrat about his carnauba. I bought some flakes from him a few years ago. Im sure he still probably deals in it.

I love the smell of Treewax, hope you make some lube with it. Now I want to put it in some lube!
