were can i find published load data for the lee 430-310 mold. I keep seeing that 21.5gr of H110 is a good load
for this boolit but all of my manuals only list for a 300gr bullet and that 21.5 is over max ?
thank you

18.5 of H110 was best performer for me at 50 with a 9.5" SRH.

Shot all the way to 21.5, 50 yard accuracy was at 18.5 for me.

I use 17.0gr 2400 with the 310, WLP primers, seated in the bottom crimp groove, 1200fps from 7 1/2" SBH.

I think 44man's favorite is 21.5gr 296 for the 310 maybe he will chime in.

I don't know about 18.5gr H110. H110 in this load with this 310 boolit you want to run near full snort.

Go to "M.D. Smith reloading pages". It covers everything up to 325 in 44 mag.

Correct 44man's load is 21.5 Gr of W-296 with the Lee 310Gr RNFP/GC seated to the bottom crimp groove or to say the farthest out you can set the boolit. And sorry to say I forget what make of primer he uses but he uses a standard large pistol primer not a Mag primer for best results. You only need a Magnum primer in extreme cold. Also I would only use such a load in a well built hand gun such as a Ruger or better.

Now for my old Ruger Bisley Super Blackhawk Hunter in .44 Mag I found best groups with 21.0Gr of W-296 and a Standard CCI Large Pistol Primer.

I will however mention this. If you do plan to use a Magnum primer then I would start at 3% less powder and work up as the Magnum primer may make the load given unsafe.

Went to "LOADDATA.COM". Punched up 44 mag. Plenty of 310 recipes from bullseye to H110.

One word of caution, don't use ANY fast burning powders with the Lee 310. You can't really make a target load out of this boolit because it needs spin to stabilize. Without velocity, you don't get spin. Without spin, groups look like you shot 00 buckshot at the target. Fast burning powders build pressure too quick, before the boolit starts to move they can go instantly into the dangerous pressure event zone.

This would effectively rule out bullseye, AA#5, even Unique is too fast for this boolit. You need 2400, LilGun, 4227, W296/H110, or some equivalent slow burning magnum handgun or shotshell powder for this boolit to shoot well and be safe doing it.

The Lee book has data but not for H110.
I'm using Accurate #9 and had to get the boolit over 1300fps to stabilize from my rifle barrel.

As per Handloader Magazine and innumerable others on this board, WW296and H110 are the same powder. I love both of them. Harles
