Fellow Casters,

I bought this mold on a whim. It looked like it would suffice for a few calibers I already cast and load for.

My problem is, "who developed this configuration?" It has wide grooves, I'm assuming, that are for lubing purposes. Powder coating maybe?

None the less, I already loaded some into 38 Special cases, looks great. Haven't shot them yet. Mine are dropping at .3585-3590. Any information, comments?

The only thing that bothers me about that design is the apparent lack of bearing surface. It may not grip the rifling very well. Other than that it looks good.

I can only assume someone wanted plenty of lube. Like the Tazman, I question the lack of bearing surface. The Hollow point looks good though.
