I just wondered who had their cams out now. And if your getting any good pics yet? I've been getting some decent bucks on one of my cams.

We have had ours out 24/7 for the last 2+ years. Both are within 80 yards of the house on our trail system through our woods. This year we have had the usual suspects - several black tail deer with fawns (no bucks), a couple bobcats, one regular coyote that has been around since spring, several raccoons, possums, and one lion. No bears have shown up this year and fewer lions than usual. A couple summers back a young female lion was around so much we named her Penelope so we didn't even have to fence the garden and roses to keep the deer out. Our oldest camera is a Primo's 35 (2 years old) and the newer is a Cabela's.

149891Saw this guy running down the road. Followed him for about a mile and a half before he got close the house and cut left into the woods. Was a few miles from my hunting grounds. Just got a quick look at him and counted 6 points on the left rack. Trail camera hasn't showed much but does and fawns.

This is why I don't set them up any more. Three years in a row is enough for me. All on private property

I have one that doesn't work anymore so I put it out in the open so everybody can see it then hide the working one which they don't even look for. Have one ole doe that poses for the cam. She has been known to lick the front of the cam. Animals are funny to watch.

Got a couple out. Mostly does so far, but last week I caught a young buck with only one 3 point antler being chased by a much larger deer. Of course the cam cut off just as the big boy stepped into the frame so I have No idea how many points.

Can't use them here in Montana except for when there are no hunting seasons going. So pretty much spring time. You can have one for security on your property though. Not sure how much grey area wiggle room there is in that but you for sure can't use them to aid your hunting/scouting because there is usually some hunting season going.

My trail cam is the Frau`s digital camera taking pictures of the deer eating apples off the trees and off the ground 50` from my back deck. I actually had 2 peeking into my barn last week when I had the big tractor doors open when I was working out there. The Frau called them `My new helpers`.Robert

We have had ours out for a couple of weeks now. Some turkey, several does with this years offspring, and three or four OK bucks. One of the bucks is more than OK.

I haven't put mine out this year. I haven't had one stolen yet but with only public land to work with its bound to happen. I will probably wait till the deer and elk hunts are over this year and work on next year's hunts. Archery deer and turkey for me next year, both hunts are over the counter here in AZ for the fall.

I've got a couple of browning cams I generally have out. Pretty crappy pic's from the last couple of weeks. some pigs and a red deer. Not sure about the deer, could be stag that has just cast its antlers.
Earlier in the year I had the cam set up to catch some really BIG game.

The third mouse pic is the mouse getting slammed by the co2 powered killer ram.
Its a rat trap but it gets the odd mouse as well.

I'm getting 70 to a 100 pictures a week this year,up to 5 or 6 at a time in my garden spot they cleaned out the sweet potato vines, and 500 feet of peas So I planted my clover cover crops and some more cowpeas, the Lablab brand by mossyoak grows well in my area,I'm just trying to keep them around until Rifle season,so I can put a couple in the freezer with my 44mag. I've got another camera to put out this week if I get to feeling better.and maybe feeder??

Got a few cams out all the time on the farm.

Caught these two good looking males chasing all the females around the barn.

Lots more, but these two were probably the best looking.

The rut here for the black-tails always starts on the last couple days of October and peaks about a week later. We haven't seen a buck all year on our trail cams, just the usual suspect does and their fawns. Last night was the first buck to show. It was a little bitty spike but its a start. Of course, modern firearm season is closed during the rut and my muzzleloader season doesn't open until Thanksgiving.

Sorry for the delayed response! They have a bear study going on here and have tagged several different bears. I don't think there is any real significance other than identification of a given bear. I'm glad to see them coming back, maybe we'll have a season one of these days.
