My wife and I made some boolits last night. This is her first ever cast boolit- Lee 457-340, beagled to drop at .462, air-cooled WW/pure lead, sized to .460 :lovebooli

Thanks guys...I appreciate all the compliments, on her behalf. I going to save the 7 that she made and load them over some Power Pistol for her to shoot. That thing's almost too pretty to shoot, though. haha...

now you done it.
after teaching the wife how to cast she decided she needed a master caster.
and about 15 molds.
once I got her to understand the importance of consistency in mold temp she now makes some super accurate 30 cal rifle boolits with it.

She's a natural. Much better than my first one. Hard to tell my first one from a sinker!

She done herself right proud! I would be happy to shoot that one, but maybe you'll want to put it up on the shelf to show it off. Of course it's been seen and admired by a few hundred people already. Congratulations.

Yah, I thought I'd show off her handi-work. I plan to load them over some Power Pistol or Trailboss for her to shoot...something nice and low recoil.

Looks great. You are a lucky man. Although my wife supports my casting and shooting...when I asked if she'd like to learn, she told me "you shoot em', you make em'.
