Silverboolit

Not really an Auto Drum update, just how I can now use it for my .308 Win. with cast bullets. Should work for most .30 cals, also.
I took a .30 carbine PTX die from LEE and drilled it out to 1/2" so as to clear the cartridge body. It is not hardened and cuts easily. Reinstall the insert. Installed the Auto Drum on the top of it, and I can now flair the case while I dump the powder charge all in one step. Have to be a little careful as the Auto Drum only has a plastic stop on it. If you don't ham fist the operation, it works really quite well.
I thought that you may like to know that there is a way to save a step with cast boolits!
