Been working on loads for the 1886 Lebel I just got.
Lee 8mm cast at .325 to .326. GC, Graf brass, rifle primer, IMR 700x powder. 8.0, 9.0,10.0.
Best load was 9.0. 50yds 1" to 2", sometimes touching. 100yds 1" to 3" sometimes touching.
I just can't believe something this old shoots so well. Shooting gang was amazed too.

I shot a Lebel sporter for quite some time and had good luck with IMR 4895 for a hunting load. I shot the Lee bullet for the M95 sized to 324. The bullet with gas check and lube ran right at 204 grains and would hold into 3 inches or less with iron sights. My best plinking load was 12.0 of Red Dot with the same bullet.
