Mainstream coverage of armed Detroiter foils bank robbery

Just watched local Detroit station report how a 63 year old CCW holder shot a 43 year old bank robber 3 times foiling the attempt to get away with the money.

Robber lived - No charges against armed citizen. Second customer stated with a slight smile that he like the idea of law abiding people having a gun as a way to discourage crime.

Video showed wounded robber with blood covered arm and some blood on his clothes laying on ground between police and rescue workers who were treating his wounds.

Use to live in Michigan.....IIRC CCW holders can't legally carry into a bank, unless the are in law enforcement.

Oddly enough two guys attempted an armed robbery of another CCW holder and failed.
