Unique case lube sticking

Can't narrow down whats going on. I usually use this old bottle of redding case lube with redding tongs which works like greased weasel ****. tried out Unique on 9mm with carbide die worked fine but when I try to use on a steel .45 acp die it sticks. throw some redding on it and no problems. What gives?

I use Unique exclusively. All my rifle dies are steel . I do not own a steel handgun die so i cant try it. I suspect a problem with the die. I have never had a problem. Check your die to be sure it is clean.

Yeah its clean. Its well used too. Could the surface being so smooth create some suction since its not a vented die?

I to use Unique case lube on both rifle and pistol cases and have never had a sticking problem. I think you might have a die issue
