Hi:
I have a Model 92 Winchester made in 1901 in excellent condition.
In factory ammo that is loaded with lead boolits is the boolit made of purelead or is it alloyed.
What ratio of lead to tin could be used to obtain good groups and not hurt thebarrel?
I shot both Winchester and Remington factory loads and they both grouped 2-3inches at 50 yards from a rest.
I am going to start casting boolits soon and I am looking for a good alloy recipefor boolit’s that will give groups and not harm the bore.
Thanks,
Terry
