21.5gr H110/296 over a standard large pistol primer. Nice and accurate.

It's a thumper of a bullet. I make mine with WWs or softer
21.5 H110 ( I wouldn't go much lower to work up)
13.5 grains of 2400 For about 1150 Ft/Sec...
10.7 grains of blue Dot
10 grains of Unique ( this load is enough to get meat on the table)
Load at your own risk, work em up a bit from below, just in case.

If you are loading them for a Ruger, make the oal 1.7" Use the lower crimp groove.

This is also my load. Slower will still have plenty of thump but the boolit needs some velocity to be accurate. It is an amazing deer boolit.

would 14gr of 2400 be too hot of a load for this boolit

i found some load data for this looks like i can load up to 16 6 as a max load
so looks like i'm good
thanks

It is a good accurate boolit with H110 My load is the same as mentioned above, but as I have a large amount of Mag pistol primers, I use them.

Well I have more H110 than I do 2400 so I will try that too
