I will be loading 130 gr. GC boolits in my .260 Remington and can't find any load data. Is there any reason that I couldn't use 6.5x55 Swede loads, starting low and working up? They're close in case capacity...

Hello Selmerfan....
What mold are you using for your .260?... I am loading the recent 6.5 GB mold for my .260 but have to taper the heck out of it to keep the boolit base out of the case body as that boolit was designed for the Swedes...I am thinking a 100-110 gr. boolit might make a better fit for these .260's...I am also working on paper patching a .257 /100gr up to use...This is my first attemp using cast in a .260...
should be fun!
:-D... (I think[smilie=1:)

I'm using an NEI 140 gr. RN GC. 13 gr. of Red Dot has produced MOA groups at 100 yds. for me, I haven't had a chance to run them over the chrono yet.

And yes, it's addictively fun! No recoil, low report, oil bottles tip over consistently. :)
