Went to get an state inspection on my truck today at a small country garage that I have dealt with for years. In our conversation I ask if they had any old wheel weights. The guy said " a few " . We went back in the next room and wheel weights were all over the floor. Guess they never boxed them over the years. They were all along the wall behind the changer and balance machine. Covered in crud like they had been there 40 years.
To make a long story short I got a scrap piece of aluminum that was laying there and began work. 2 1/2, 5 gal buckets . He said I could have them for cleaning up the mess. lol I gave him 10 bucks for a pizza !!
Christmas came early this year. :bigsmyl2:

Great score, good for you! I drive right by a few small garages and sometimes think about stopping and asking, but don't for some reason. Gonna have to start though.

Small garages are a good way to go. Much easier to deal with than many

PIZZA!!... I never have tried that one! Good idea.... I have used, in order of magnitude;

1. Beer
2. Home made deer sausage, uncooked links
3. deer sausage & egg bisquits
4. Volkswagen parts (air cooled)
5. yard work
6. buckets of old paint

Next time POPPA John's has the 3 toppings, Giant size for $10, will grab a few and see what I can find. Am out of deer sausage and beer is getting expensive.

Nose Dive

Cheap, Fast, Good. Kindly pick two.

LOL The Goodyear store saves me there ww's. They even sort them. I only get lead. I pickup every 3 or 4 months and take them pizza. There are 5 or 6 guys working there and 3 pizza's buy's me about 125 lb of ww's about 3 times a year. Works for me.
