Was the Winchester 1910 tapped for a tang

Did the Win 1910 come from the factory tapped like this

The answer is yes. After looking at numerous photos, the Marking is correctly spaced between the holes. If you look at other models with one tang screw, they use all the space for marking. Dave

I've seen some that were neither tapped or marked on the tang. Tang was smooth. Come to think of it, those may have been 1907s. Nonetheless my 1910 is the same as your photo shows.
