Hi Guys:

Newby here, looking for advice on a vernier sight. I need to find a make & model that will fit a T/C 50 Cal. Hawken. I'm trying to stretch my range out to 300 yd, so a mid-range sight is what I had in mind.

In the mid 80s T/C sold a vernier tang mounted sight (I can't find the one I did buy) as an accessory for the Hawkin rifles. As of today, all I"ve been able to find out from T/C, is that they did not make them in house, and the gunsmith there couldn't remember who they bought them from

So far, I've called T/C Contender, Marble, Brownell, & Lyman. No luck!

I'm hoping someone here might have some information to help me out.

Thank you,

RD

RD,
Did it look like this:

I'm looking for a Lyman 311284 or other GC mould that will throw a .30 cal. boolit right around 200 gr, for the Krag & '03 Springfield, or I might take $$$ too.

Make me an offer if this is what you need. It is pretty near new, just a little dusty.

Jack

Jhrosier:

That looks just like the original.

I don't have a clue as to what it's worth, but if you pm me a value, we can go from there.

Thanks,

RD
