Lee Deluxe Power quick trim lock stud question?? For 9mm to 9x18 Mak

How does this gadget work?
Wanna trim down 9mm to 9x18 mak. I bought this item, but can't figure out how to use it.
I bought the Lee gauge and wood handle to hold the brass.
thought this power trim lock stud would hold my brass, and spin in my drillpress.
NOoooooooo!
any pics of what you use would really help!

Did you get the appropriate threaded shell holder?

The shellholder that came with the case length gage has female threads. The deluxe power trim lock has female threads. need one with male thread somewhere.
What is the deluxe trimmer for?

I think you have the new style adapter intended for on press trimming 148690
But sounds like you want the original style stud
