Does anyone own one of these X Frame revolvers and shoot the NOE 502-383 RF bullet, either hollow point or flat point? They're on sale right now and wondered if anyone has experience with this mold and how does it shoot? I'm not looking for load data at this time. Thanks in advance!

Personally I would trust it. Not that I have a gun to shoot it out of, but just a personal opinion.

I did see somewhere earlier today or yesterday someone was asking about how hard to make that exact boolit.

Have both. I also have the pointed bullet mold Al makes that's also around 385. I, unlike some others, like the "lighter" bullets in the 500. 375-400 is perfect for me. The 375 is also the weight Dan at C4 dies uses for African hunting, including buffalo. He does turn them out of brass so not talking lead. I use his brass bullets in a couple big doubles as well as the 500. The point is that 375 is a good weight for the 500 & I find it accurate.

I have the NOE 550gr RN and it does ok... But, I'm with tygar, I prefer a lighter boolit in my 4" X-frame S&W. I have a 3 cav. Balisti-cast mold that drops a 385gr RF that is plain base. It's very accurate in my gun using 17gr of Unique.
