No pictures yet but I just picked up a Franchi Centennial .22 from a buddy for cheap and was wondering if anybody knows anything about it. It's a tube fed mag in the stock that holds about 10 rounds of .22 LR. I'll be dropping my older deer scope on it which is a Leupold 1x4 that was on my BDL 700 before upgrading it's optics.
So far only fired a few rounds of Remington bulk gold through it, had to stop the big pine log in the back yard from attacking. The rifle has a nice trigger and is real light at about 4 1/2 lbs, Walnut stock and nice crisp checkering.

Those were all made in 1968, for Franchi's Centennial (100th anniversary).

There were 3 versions - a "standard", an engraved "deluxe", and a "gallery" model.

They're nice rifles...............

I have a .pdf of the manual if you PM me your email(too big to post here). Parts are impossible to find - they made a "paratrooper" model with folding stock also. Nice to have if you own a Franchi shotgun I guess.(I don't, just the little .22)

I have a paratrooper model that a relative gave me. The knurled nut that holds the barrel is buggered around the holes used to turn it, looks like they used whatever they had on hand, they didn't know that the cocking lever can be pulled out to be used on the knurled nut to help tighten/loosen it.
