Does anyone have data for 9.3x57 and 4064?

All the data I have found or read about involves either 3031 or 4895 or the Norma powders. I have more 4064 than anything else. Seems like an appropriate powder, just a touch on the slow side.

232 gn - 48.0 IMR4064 - 2255 FPS
250 gn - 42.0 IMR4064 - 1950 FPS
250 gn - 44.5 IMR4064 - 2112 FPS
270 gn - 42.0 IMR4064 - 1941 FPS
285 gn - 45.5 IMR4064 - 2071 FPS

Yep, better to be safe, the 9.3x57 is not a high pressure round.

Grinch, are you familiar with it? Data is far between and little when found. I just received a NOE mold and gas checks. I haven't actually fired it yet, it is a Husquavara small ring Mauser. I figured I could use 8x57 data if nothing else was available. I have no Norma powders.

Wayne: you might try 5744 for that cartridge with cast boolits try about 25 gr to start. It seems to work really well in bottleneck cases like that..

For other powders,,, Data for a .35 Rem could also be a good place to start.

I had one in the past on a pre-war 98 small ring Mauser sporter. I only shot cast in it and eventually sold it and moved up to a 9.3x62. It's a very mild cartridge, yet very efficient in my opinion. Kind'a between a 35 Rem and a 358 Win. I don't see why 8x57 American loads wouldn't work, just stay on the mild end.

I use 358 Win loads for the 250 gr bullet for the 9.3X57 for 286 gr cast and jacketed bullets. This is in a M98 action.

For 232 gr bullets in the 9.3X57, I'd use loads for the 358 Win for 200 or 220 gr bullets, but I have not tried it yet.
