OK, I can't find it or don't have it.

I'm looking for a load for the Lee 310 GC boolit.

Mostly what I'm looking for are load data min and max with 2400.

If there is any.

The closest info I could find is either a 300 or a 325gr bullet.

With the 300 gr

W296 starts at 18gr min and goes to 19gr max
Lilgun starts at 15.5gr and goes to 17.7gr max

Now this is confusing to me.

With a 325gr bullet

W296 starts at 20gr and maxes out at 22gr
Lilgun starts at 17gr and maxes out at 20gr.

anyone have a suggestion for the 310 gr bullet with any of these powders?

W296, Lilgun, 2400

Many interchange H-110 and 296 data, so...18.5 grs. of H-110 in Winchester brass was 1,325 fps. ave. in a 10" T/C Contender, and quite accurate.

You don't say what gun you'll be using these in, but in general, you can use the 300 gr. jacketed bullet recipes for the Lee 310 FNGC. I don't use 2400 anymore, but I do use all the other powders you mentioned. I own 5 .44 magnums, but my heavy loads (using the Lee boolit) are all fired in my Ruger RH with 7 1/2" barrel.

These loads are safe in my gun....USE CAUTION AND WORK UP YOUR OWN LOADS!

Lee 310 FNGC ACWW seated to crimp in the rear crimp groove
CCI 350
19.5 gr. Lil'Gun avg. vel. 1343 fps.
20 gr. WC 820 avg. vel. 1287 fps.
21 gr. H-110 avg. vel. 1230 fps.
14.5 gr. Bluedot avg. vel. 1209 fps.

It's a Ruger SRH w/9.5" brl

454- did you find that at lower velocities the bullet was not very stable? Keyholed?

If you know, is there a "velocity" that I need to be faster than to prevent this?

My first test load they were key holing at about 15 yds.

I've never had that problem, but the lowest velocities I've shot them is around 1150 fps. in my old Herters .44 magnum. I use them without a gas check in that, driven by Bluedot, and they group into 1 1/2" at 25 yards.

I use 17.5 gr of 2400 and cci 350 primers for my contender w/ the Lee 310. A Colt Anaconda around here prefers 14.0 gr of Blue Dot, as does my BH. Used H110 in the SRH... but must have sent the data with the gun when it left... Sorry.. MV

Ruger 44 Magnum revolver barrels use a twist rate of 1:20, the 310's won't keyhole as long as they're larger than the groove diameter.

My standard hunting load in the SBH and SRH is 21.5 gr's of 296. That Lee boolit is very accurate to 200 meters.
I use the same load to 330 gr boolits.

310 Lee is a pretty decent blt in either 44M or 444, however it is my experiance that it is not as accurate a blt. in either as the Ranch Dog blts in both ctgs. Suggest you use 2400 with starting loads for 300 gr. J blts and adjust accordingly.
