I have been without a 45acp for about 7 years now and decided it was time for another. My last was a Para Ordnance P12 which is a commander size, double stack that I liked but thought at the time I needed an AR more so sold it to finance the AR. With fond memories of the P12, I pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a (now) Para USA Elite. Will post pics after the required 10 day before I can bring it home.

Wow, 7 years without a 45acp in the house. Pretty sure I wouldn't have made it that long. I've always like Para, seems like they've always made quality guns.

I currently have two Para Ordance pistols in 45 acp a P12 alloy frame I bought 22 years ago and a lightly used P14 limited I picked up last month to go along with my other 1911 style 45 acp pistols .

I have two Springfield Armory 1911 pistols, and they are excellent !

all function well and are accurate.
