I will be coming into position of a T/C Contender barrel soon in 45 Winchester magnum caliber, along with 100 new brass. Does anyone have one? How do they stack up against the 44 magnum?

My brother has an LAR Grizzly in 45 Win Mag that he carries when fishing the Alaskan rivers. It has been generally considered equivalent to the 44 Mag when loaded up right. My silhouette shooting buddy used to use them for long range silhouette matches and was able to keep up with the XP shooters...
