lee trimmer

I have never been a big fan of lee trimmers, but the other day I formed some 7mm08 brass from .243 win. I was surprised to find that, there was about a 1/4 of brass to trim. The lee lock stud and drill made the trimming of the brass much better.

I agree. It does a great job. I make 8mm Mauser from 06. Usually open the mouth to 8mm and trim before forming. Anneal first.
