Went to get an oil change at the dealership a friend owns today. I got a free 1/2 full 5 gal. pail of used weights when I left. On the way home I stopped at a yard sale, I usually go right on by them. I found an old wooden box that was dusty and full of mono type printers letter blocks on a table of knickknacks. The asking price was $5.00! There is about 30 lb. in the box. The elderly lady said it was from her Granddad`s print shop in the `50`s. I tried to give her $30 for the box and explain to her what this stuff was and worth. She finally took $20, and that grudgingly. Guess I should stop at yard sales more often.Robert

Good on you 416; you did the right and decent thing by that elderly lady.

I picked up a 3/8 x 1" bolt in a tire this morning. When I paid for the repair, I ask about WWs and was told that in about 2 weeks I could come back for most of a bucket. Somebody just got what he had on Wed.
Paying $19,95 to fix a hole in my tire kinda twisted my shorts, but finding a new source for WWs eased the pain.
