Hey everyone,
It has been a while, but I have always appreciated this forum for fellow enthusiasts like myself. I have inherited this cz27 pistol from a friend and I am having a hard time pricing it out. Ultimately I am looking to roll this into a decent hunting rifle (308, 270, 30-06, ect). I am also not sure which route to sell/trade this pistol as I am not educated on private gun sales on the internet. Any help is appreciated. This is in original condition with a clip and leather holster. Markings are below with pictures. I have also include a picture of my pug in a lobster costume because why not LOL!

No idea on the CZ, but my Blue Book of Dog Values lists a Pug dressed up as a lobster in 95% condition as being worth $76.50.

My LGS has one from a World War II collector. The word is that is has Nazi markings. Similar to yours only polymer grips, 2 mags and a holster. Price tag is $500 ish. Yours looks to be a bit older.

I was looking for one but that was a bit steep in my book. I would have gone for it for $350-$400. I settled for a CZ70 for a little under $300.

Just my thought, I hope this helps.

I bought one of similar age and condition to yours off GunBroker last year for $500, and a late war production with phosphated finish for about $100 less. Besides being collectible, they are accurate, reliable and sturdy shooters.

I would look for about 375-400 for that gun.
In better condition or with Nazi Markings, you could maybe add another 150 to that. But it looks to be no better than 60%, it does not have the WWII cachet, and it is a 32. They are not rare, CZ made over a half a million of them from 1928 up into the 1950's. I have seen one that had a crest stamped on it that was supposed to have been Bolivian mil-surplus and have read that the Czechs sold them for export to a number of countries.
