Will the NOE 311041 be a good mold for M1A and an AR 300 blackout? Definetly would go with a gas check which would allow me to either run sub in the blackout or supers with a gas check.

I haven't tried but I bet that flat nose isn't likely to feed very well.

The Lyman 31101 has fed and functioned with 100%reliability in several M1As and M14s I've used it in. In 12" twist original M14 or replacent barrels I push it to 2200 ps with excellent performance and very accetable accuracy. I would assume the NOE copy would do as well.

A search on the 311041 and Lyman's version turned up minimal results and nothing on the blackout forum either. Not confident the swill load with a semi auto.

i do not have the 311141 (173g) mould

I have a 300 black and I do have the rcbs 30-150-fn cast as 155g and it will not feed in the blkout

I use the 31-165b&c in 308, 31-142c in BO. Both have 0.18 me plat and feed ok. 041 is heavier with a larger meplat. Don't know how it will feed.

I can't speak for the M1A, and don't have an AR in the BO, but the 311041 feeds very well in my FAL and is accurate in it and an H&R .300 BO single shot.
