The better part of 30 years ago I bought one of those molds for my Burnside carbine. It made surprisingly good bullets that shot quite well. The lack of a sprue cutter is the only drawback. But a pair of flush cutters will work.

I got one of those from Dixie a looong time ago. Welding gloves help! Back then I was not all that interested in ease of casting nor was I real interested in accuracy. As I recall, the mold was neither easy to use nor was the boolit accurate from my Burnside. I ended up using a round ball and got great accuracy.
Recently, I was able to purchase some castings from the Rapine Burnside mold 556360. I shot some two summers ago and they were pretty good, at least good enough for hunting.
Best of luck and keep us posted.
