Has anyone experienced the twist-in pins that hold the handles to the mold becoming loose and falling out?

If so,what was your fix?

So far I have used lock tight and JB Weld,no permanent results yet.

Try staking the hole the pin is in, soft aluminum so a nail set will work. Good luck, Tim

Thanks, but that fix seems to be for the older style mold.I don't believe it will work for the new version. The pins have threads and twist in with an allen wrench.

Tap in/reinstall with a 3/16" punch, and stake on either side with a nail or center-punch to permanently secure, as tward noted.

As others have said,tap/screw in and stake in place. I did this to 2 different Lee 2 cavity molds and never had another problem.

What have I got to lose? We'll do it.
