Hi Guys,

I'm new here and have just started shooting cast bullets. This is a very informative forum with lots of great practical information, so I'm hoping someone who knows a lot more about casting than I do can help me out.

I got given a couple of pounds of 6.5mm 150gr GC bullets - origin and mold ........unknown....(see photo)

Does anyone know the type of mold these might have been cast from ? They seem to shoot well enough (1.5" at 100yds from a Swedish Mauser with open sights) and I'd like to get a mold so that I can cast more and keep shooting them.

Thanks for your help

Regards,

Looks something like a Don Eagan MX mold, but I didn't know any were made in 6.5.

Good luck! They didn't make many. Maybe the maker of the one's you have will part with his. The last one I saw being sold on eBay went for a little over $100.
