Had the usual assortment of 94 win and 336 marlins with a few 99Savage scatter throughout. There was one 94ae that looked like a pretty good deal. It was a large loop 16&1/4" barreled 38-55 for 5 bills.

I picked up a Savage 99 with tang safety, det. mag.(2 of them) and pistol grip stock, in 243 win. Didn't have any sights, only a scope base, so need to find sights and get some rings. Have the bore soaking right now, so , sorry, no pics. Ended up giving $450 for it, think I did OK.

To rich for a 99C for me. They are the least collectible. If you plan on shooting it and you're happy that's all that matters. Hope it shoots well for you :beer:

I've been ogling a 99 with a detachable lately at my local big box store, pretty sure it wasn't there today. I think the rotary magazine makes it a 99 for me but the box mag variant has a certain charm.
