Does anyone see a problem with shooting lead boolits in my new Sig 320 .45ACP?
Thanks!

No problem at all. They work great for target practice.

All I would ever use is a lead boolit...............solid or HP'd. 45 ACP is one of the easiest platforms to shoot cast boolit from and have success.

When not to use cast boolits?
When you have a sponsor who buys you factory ammo.

I had two sig .45s. One gobbled 200 gr. SWC like popcorn at a movie. The other bobbled before the first mag was shot up. However it digested 230 RNs by the multiple thousands with nary a hitch.

Your results may vary. If one bullet shape does not work, try another. My load for both 200 and 230 gr bullets was 5 to 5.5 grs. 231. Those loads ran perfectly and dumped empties by my right heel.

Cast boolits will keep your sig barrel looking like new, even after thousands of rounds!

When you are waterfowl hunting and even more so in these new fangled not tocksic zones for upland birds. Or, when you are deer hunting in 10 year old clear cuts that are the size of a section and shots can get 4 or 5 football fields. Hey, if that's where the deer are.

Thanks everyone. It's a Sig P320 "Full Size" .45 ACP. Striker fired with one of the nicest trigger pulls out of the box I have ever experienced. Very, very nice gun I am happy I bought.

During the "end of days" when all the lead is gone due to "greenies". And condors eating it all! Otherwise cast and shoot any and all you can for any and all guns!

Have fun
