As I have written in Levergung section I am in the process of casting my own. I'd like to start with 405 grain flat nose bullett for my Marlin an Henry lever and a 140gr spitzer for my Carl Gustav Husky. Matter is that living overseas I cannot fail making the right order: ie wrong dia, non well fitting products, because sendig back the mould will double the price (to gave you an idea a lyman moulds its about 170 bucks here). For the levergun, both sludged less than .457 a .459 dia, single or duble cavity, would fit. Then I could resize for each gun with a custom lee resizer. On the swede mauser I jet have to find the correct product. Cause my wife will be in N.Y. in mid september I could avoid shipping and custom cost having the moulds sent at her's hotel.
Now the quest: I have fullfilled the contact form on Mountain Mould but had no answer. Are there any other makers before I place an order on Lyman or RCBS? I would prefere iron mold over aluminium or brass for durability and cause I cannot l have full controll on the metal i'll cast. If forced to buy an alu one I think i can order some Lee and enlarge them at my needs (but still I could'nt score a .264 mould for the swede within Lee catalog)
