What cannelure tool are you using? Your cannelures are very nice and even, almost look like they were machine made. I hope to be making .38s soon, and will need to cannelure them, that is the reason for my question. Anyway, very well done!

Thanks for that great hint of using a shim to set the depth of the cannelure. I'd never have thought of that, but it sure makes a lot of sense. Now, I do believe I've got a full set of shims somewhere in my toolbox. Gonna have to find them.

Really nice work, is it possible to make fmj with most swaging dies, or is there a forming punch to shape the jacket prior to core seating.
