CZ85-Advise on NOE molds

I finally bit the bullet (pun intended) and ordered a CZ85 in 9mm. I want to get a four cavity NOE mold and one I can both hollow points or solids. Any advise as to which mold? Any actual results good or bad with any NOE 9mm mold? I lean toward a flat point if they will work.

Select your alternatives, and find someone who will send or sell you enough to test. Feeding will be your big issue if there are any problems. That being said - concerning design - try it if you like it.

Funny you should ask... I bought a CZ85 earlier this year, and a RCBS 124 gr. SWC style mold. It would not feed.

So, I ordered a NOE 358 135 gr. RF. It functions perfectly and is accurate.

The NOE 358-135 is excellent and I believe it is in stock right now. Whether you choose an RG version and go with the hollowpoint version or go with a standard flat point, I think you'll find it works just fine

I guess great minds think alike-that is the mold I was leaning toward!

The NOE 358-135 FN is my most accurate boolit in my 9mm pistols hands down. I have others that are close but this one is still the best. There is very little difference between the rf and the fn designs from NOE.
I am loading it to just under 1100fps(1075) for my best results.

BTW, What OAL is everyone loading this bullet at?

You will find that the CZ85 has a very short throat. Use the plunk test to set your OAL. Mine ended up at 1.065.

I am loading it at 1.035-1.040. It works great for me but the chambers on my 9mm barrels are a little on the generous size.
