Any one have any idea where I can get one mine walked off when I took the gun apart to rust blue and midway is out of stock. Ive read researching that an FFL is needed to buy one through brownells.

Just looked at Brownells, doesn't look like it's restricted at all.

From my experience, whenever I can't find a tiny spring or ball bearing and I'm tempted to order one before I do that I will take a foxtail and dustpan and start moving things around and organizing. Sweeping the floor into the dustpan. Then I take the dustpan under a bright light and inspect the contents before throwing it away. The spring went somewhere, and you WILL find it if you spend enough time cleaning.

Side benefit is you have a cleaner more organized shop.

I have used a magnet with great success.

Lay a bright flashlight on it's side and shine the beam across the floor. It helps light up the small parts along with the occassional primer. If it was a spring maybe it went up not down, check nooks and crannies where it could of landed.
Have you tried calling Remington for the spring, they have a good warrenty and might replace the spring for free or at least cheap. Was able to get a set of springs for a Ruger pistol no charge by just making the call.

Or walk around barefoot. You'll find it - those things are sharp!

I have used a magnet with great success.

Only reason I don't use a magnet is it magnetizes the part and all the steel filings which makes a mess.
