I acquired about 3/4 of a can of this in a swap. It smells good to me-a little vinegary. Too slow for 308 or 223 per Accurate who confirms 1996 manufacture date. I'd hate to consign it to fertilizer duty if there is someone who can make a face to face swap in Western NY.

Successor to Accurate MRP which IIRC is right around 4831 burn rate in case you are wondering.

it is close to 4831 it works better with a little compression though.
I'd just burn it up in my 30-30 if I had it.

wouldn't hurt it any to give a couple a try.
fill the case to where the boolit compresses the powder a little and give it a go.
the worse that could happen is low velocity and poor burn characteristics.
the best is you get 18-1900 fps, a clean burn, and a fairly quiet load.
that's what I get from my 30-30 with 4831.
