Anyone use a Herters powder drop????
Got one on auction. Doesn't have a model number on it. It just has "Model".

Abunaitoo:
Herters made a lot of different measures; I just got a Model 39 Micro-Adjustable, up on a big natural-finish cast aluminum bench stand with clamp. Post a photo, and we can refer it to our Herters expert on the Antique Reloading Tool Collectors Ass'n. website; OR go there to <www.antiquereloadingtools.org>/ "Messages" and look under the "20th Century Loading Tools" topic and see if you can match yours up with one of the ones there.

Thanks for the picture and link.
Still don't know what model it is, but I found out it has a Herters tip off hopper on it. No bottle or baffle with mine.
Anyone still use a Herters powder drop?????
How accurate is it??????

Why don't we stop using the term "powder drop" when we mean "powder measure". It confuses the reader - do we mean the whole measure or the "drop tube"? Powder measure is specific and drop tube is specific. It helps when we ask questions so the respondent really knows what you are trying to say.
Just a thought...
