I purchased this mold with 3 sets of pins, FN, HP, and CP, so far I have only cast the HPs, they drop very nice and weigh in at 271 grains checked and lubed from my alloy. I am sizing them to .377 and shooting them from a 375 Ruger over IMR 4198.

Target is the first 4 shots fired from a cold barrel.

It casts very nice, I haven't had a chance to try the cup or flat point pins yet.

I can now report that the FN pins cast a very nice bullet that tips the scales at 280 grains from my alloy checked and lubed, hopefully I will get to the cup point pins in the next few days. I think for deer, caribou, the FN version would be a great bullet.

Last one I promise, this is the 275gr cup point next to the 271gr hollow point.

I like the cup point, my best justification for the RG option.

You guys are definately pushing me closer to the verge of ordering this mold and the point options!Robert

I have been using this bullet from NOE for a while now. Just shot it again today in my .375/.338, & have been using in my Whitworth .375 H&H.

It really casts well & mine come in right around 275 w/lube/GC in #2 alloy.

My results today were basically the same as above.

Cold barrel, 4 shots last 3 shots in a inch with cold 1st shot out another 1/2". This is the second set in a ladder test. First ladder w/RL19 was 43, 44, 45gr w/44 the best. This one 43.5, 44, 44.5 with the 44 again the best, so will load 10 @ 44 & see how it goes.

Had 2 or 3 decent loads with the H&H but havn't refined it yet.

I like the bullet. You should get it.

Funny thing, after I shot the cast, I had couple sets of full pop jacketed 270s loaded. So figured I'd keep the powder from going bad or something & shoot them up. Well I loaded the first one & touched it off & surprise, surprise, the SOB kicked! LOL after shooting all these weenie light cast loads, I forgot what full pop felt like.

So, only shot the other 4 to finish the string & put these bullets away. Also had a box of hot 450 Watts in 400s & 500s I was going to shoot & they definately went back in the box. Getting real wussy, need to get back to shooting hot rifle.

Well, you guys did push me over the edge about getting this mold. I elected to stay with the original flat nose configuration and stay away from any HP options. Got it on the bench and cleaned up, just need to be feeling better and the days cooler to try it out. Then of course try to figure out an H&H load for it.Robert

This is one of many molds I haven't cast w/ yet. Don't understand why I keep buying them. Looks look it will be a good purchase once I get around to using it

Shot the 10 but after several hours in the 90 temps I was in a hurry to get it done + wind & mirage.

So, started with cold barrel & got all 10 off in a couple minutes. 9 were in 1.716, adding the cold brl first shot was 2.584 & taking 1 flyer out, 8 in 1.241 all in a cluster. Need to chrony but if these are at least faster than I can walk, I think they'll do fine.

Will start serious testing with the Whitworth & 1 Kleinguenther 375 H&H I'm going to use. I had some prelims on the Whitworth so will get the dope book out & see where to start.

I think this would be a great bullet in a 375 Whelen as well, wonder how it would do in a 375 Winchester?

I got that mold for my 375 Ruger also, haven't been shooting any. Glad to see yours likes it.

Probably too long for 375 win in a lever, should work fine in SS.
