Anyone use Titegroup, CFE Pistol, or AA Super Handicap for shooting collar buttons out of their 45-70. I've seen Unique is commonly used but don't have any on hand at the moment. I'm not worried about over pressure as I'll only be using a puff of whatever it is but if someone has data that's reliable I'd have a starting point. Thanks guys.

10.0 gr of Unique, I think would be a good load and by that, I also think that 9.0 gr of Titegroup would be a good starting point.
I've used Titegroup in 32/20, subsonic loads. It seems (for 32/20 at least) that it needs more pressure that I was able to generate, with 4.0 gr and a 160 gr bullet to burn clean.

Yes it is. I actually have 4227 so I may use that.

I've used 4227 data as shown. A bit louder than I wanted and really wanted a true subsonic gallery load. I may try a small amount of TG and see what happens.

Yeah. I decided I wanted to test my .44 boolits I cast yesterday. Loaded with a mid range load of TG it should be moving at 950-1000. Should be a fun day tomorrow.
