Just a guess here, but I would say about $50?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't to clear. Was wondering what if any difference in the press and or components. That said, are you saying the older starter set is worth only 50.00 or 50.00 less than a new one?

One RCBS RS press is pretty much the same as another. I am still using a RS2 press I bought back in the mid 1980's. I would say $50 cheaper than a new set. I do not know what the components in either kit consist of.

Well, picked up a NIB RS3 Starter set for 3.00 at a yard sale today. From what I can tell the only thing different is the old version does not have the deburrer. Figured I did good.

You paid $3 for a whole starter set? you should wear a ski mask for the rest of the week....

You sir are a real bandit :)

BTW, if that $3 was the asking price you should feel no guilt....

3.00 was the asking price. And my buddy said the same thing about the ski mask.

I got bad news for you. That deburrer is going to cost more than the whole kit did to replace.

18.49 + shipping off Amazon to add the same one to the kit that is included in the current offering. Doesn't seem like bad news for me

Congratulations you did awesome. It's not very often you find deals like that. If the poor guy who bought it in gone I think he would still be happy someone is using it. I know I would be. :)

My stuff is all from the 50s-70s. Never have to buy any.

Yeah, I'm a bad man LOL. The guy bought it with all good intentions, but just never got around to it. Him and his wife are downsizing and buying a motorhome and headed out to see America
