Quickie question................
Would a .363 work? Lyman makes one in .360 and .363. I am a tool maker and I'd much prefer if I were honing one out to go .002 than .005, both because of time and accuracy. Just a thought on my part.

Our member, Buckshot, can answer your question. He can hone dies out, or even make dies if needed, and his work has been highly recommended on this board.

I'd be inclined to buy a .360 die and hone it to .326 yourself. You might even find the .360 is really a .361 anyway. My nominal .225 is acutally .226 which suits me fine.

I did a .313 to .3165 and it took a looooonnnngggg time using the "Buckshot" method but worked a treat. I do get a little lube leakage around the plunger however.

You can have problems with the plunger that pushes the boolit back up if you hone very much...lube will leak around the sides. I'd buy whatever factory diameter is close...or keep looking for someone who will make you one.

This is one of the benefits of the STAR. I had some problems with a die...chucked it in a lathe at work and used one of the little ball hones like you polish chambers with to get rid of the scratches and take it out another .001. I had a piece of lead in a lube hole that would leave a scratch on boolits.
