I have a quantity of Norma 1010 that was given to me years ago by a fellow bullseye shooter. I'm trying to find load data for this but haven't been successful so far. It's been sealed in the original container and kept cool and dry. Does anyone have old manuals with data for this powder?

I have Speer Manual #9, and looking quickly I see it has some loads for Wadcutter loads in the .38 Special. There may be others. What calibers are you interested in?

For the Speer 148gr Bevel Base Wadcutter, start load is 2.8gr for 744 fps, max load is 3.2gr for 832 fps.
For the Speer 148gr Hollow Base Wadcutter in a S&W Model 14, start load is 2.6gr for 744 fps, max load is 2.9gr for 811 fps.
For the Speer 148gr Hollow Base Wadcutter in a S&W Model 52, start load is 2.5gr for 701 fps, max load is 2.7gr for 770 fps.

Thanks for this it's very helpful. I didn't see it until just a few minutes ago and responded to your pm as well.

In your PM, you asked for any Norma 1010 data for .45 acp in the Speer Manual #9. I do see some data there, but only for the Speer .452 swaged 200 gr SWC:

4.0gr gives muzzle velocity of 720 fps and 230 fp
4.4gr gives muzzle velocity of 809 fps and 290 fp

These were in a 5" 1911A1, using Federal cases and CCI 300 primers. No info on OAL. In the .45 acp data in this manual, results for N1010 are nearly identical to results with Red Dot.

Start low & work up.
