CVA Apex barrels

I have a CVA Apex 50 cal smokepole and was thinking about getting a barrel in 30/06, have any of you tried the center fire barrels and if so how did they shoot. Thanks for any information you can give me.

I've got a 45-70 that I haven't spent enough time with yet, but got 2-3 inch groups at 100.

I have had an Apex in .308 for 4 years and love it. I only shoot cast out of it and it shoots an honest 1.5 moa when
I do my part. A friend has one in 45/70 and 50 cal like yours, his shoots great. These are great guns, good triggers
nice stocks, extra barrels come with scope mounts for right around 200.00 whats not to like? My next barrel will be
a 45/70 to go with my 45/70 Marlin Cowboy.

Well that's good to hear I'm gonna get the 30/06 barrel and if it shoots as good as the 50 cal I will be tickeled. Thanks
