I don't know the year or anything. Just that its a S&W 45 hand eject, its been refinished so no collector value. But somebody I know is willing to sell it to me for $100, figured I should jump on it, he put some packmyers on it, has a bunch of the moon clips. A zero $ gun, already have ammo and reload for that, so no more cash except the $100.

The only thing to watch with a few of the 1917 or later commercial HE N-frame variants is butcher-jobs to the chambers trying to turn a 45 ACP (or 455 Eley) into a 45 Colt. Colt 1917s and New Service examples aren't immune from this shade-tree action, either.

If it is not stolen or in bad condition, $100.00 is a bargain basement price. Even if it is in bad shape, you could part it out and make money.

Its functional gun, friend has it. Reducing his stock of guns. Not been butchered that I know of, still in ACP. Somebody we know parkenzerised it. Replaced the main spring. At worst I have to go thru it.

What is your problem, you don't have a hundred bucks or what? Why are you not on your way to get it?

Well I am in TN and the gun is in Fla, would be a decent reason. Just found out about the deal this morning. So I really haven't jumped in the car and drove the 12 hrs down there. Its not going anywhere, somebody will make a trip up here, I will make one down there.
