Could use some prayers for my mother (67) who is in a critical care unit. A week ago Saturday she started having pain between her shoulder blades, it became unbearable so we too her to the ER. After an entire day of tests they concluded that it was a deep muscle spasm and sent her home with some serious pain killers that didn't touch the pain. Four days later and with no improvement she went by ambulance back to the hospital. They gave here another MRI and saw the she had infection in 4 vertebrae in her neck and needed emergency surgery. Prior to the operation she had paralysis in both arms and legs. She has regained both arms with limited hand use and use of her right leg as of today. The docs have no idea what caused this to happen (the infection) 10 years ago she had the same thing happen (minus the paralysis) from a deep splinter in here finger that became infected. She spent 21 days in the hospital and bounced back rather quickly. She is a Grandmother and one of those crazy horse owner/nuts. I asked for any/all prayers I can get to help he recover from this strange event.
